Margaret Ellen Holley

Margaret was married to James Hubert Holley on August 12, 1961. She had a long career with Tom Thumb as a baker. Margaret resided in Texas for most of her life before relocating to Arkansas in 2013 to be closer to her family. She had a heart for family and was very involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret was a devout Christian and a member of the Believers Community Church where she worked with small children for Celebrate Recovery for five years. She was also involved with the Holy Hens and Secret Sisters with the church.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Denese Holley Boyett, and spouse, Gleen; brothers, Vernon Johnson and Gary Johnson; sister, Mildred Lyda; 7 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert Holley; son, Doyle Lyda; twin sister, Merna Clark; brother, Robert "Buster" Johnson; two great grandchildren, Tara Lyda and Lacy Boyett; and two great grandchildren, Kenedie Haynes and Kenleigh Boyett.

A visitation for Margaret will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm in the Gumpy Moore Stateroom of Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00am in the South Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. Burial will immediately follow in Moore Memorial Gardens.
