Marion Rebecca Lundstrom

Marion Rebecca Lundstrom (Becky), age 66, passed away on September 21st, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. She was born on June 19th, 1958, in Arlington, Texas to Calvin and Patsy Briggs. Becky was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas where she graduated high school.

She worked as a secretary and office manager for numerous companies for over 30 years, balancing work and raising her two children, Amy and Robert.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family at family reunions and the holidays which she loved cooking for her children and grandchildren, always hoping for all to attend. Becky enjoyed tending to her flowers and looking forward to the arrival of the hummingbirds every spring. She was an avid reader and big time Wheel of Fortune fan. She also enjoyed summer trips to the mountains in Breckenridge, Colorado, and to the beaches of the South Texas coast and Florida with her family.

Her family and friends will always cherish her as a welcoming, loving, caring, funny, honest, beautiful, sweet and loyal person.

She is preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Patsy Briggs.

She is survived by her partner/best friend Paul T. Lundstrom Jr., daughter, Amy Howard (James), son, Robert Downs (Courtney). Her grandchildren, Gabriel, Calvin, Brady, Fiona, June and Hazel. Sisters Barbara Lloyd (George), Fay Flores, Vicky Tedford and her brother Jimmy Briggs (Vicki).

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. The Funeral service to Celebrate the Life of Marion Rebecca Lundstrom will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home with visitation to begin an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The National Audubon Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
