Marvin was born July 27th, 1927 to Ray and Maude Bean in North Platte, Nebraska. He graduated from high school in Nebraska, then joined the Navy, serving from 1945-1949.
After the Navy, Marvin met the love of his life, Helen Fay Johnson, to whom he was married for 54 years until her death in 2003.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska and began his long aeronautics engineering career, retiring after 43 years from Lockheed Martin.
Marvin was a long-time member of Woodland West Church of Christ. He loved and revered God and Jesus, and remained faithful until his death.
Marvin is survived by 3 daughters, Becky Bean Thompson, (Dennis), Alison Bean Chandler, (Scott), and Lilli Becker. He was “GG” to 7 grandchildren, 13 greats, and one great-great grandbaby.
