Mary J Dowling

Mary was born September 16, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated as valedictorian from All Saints High School and received a Bachelor of Science from University of Detroit. On June 27, 1953, Mary was married to Dr. George Dowling. Mary worked as a medical technologist for Mercy Hospital in Detroit and Winkler County Hospital in Kermit, Texas and was Councilwoman of Women's Auxiliary of Texas Medical Association. She had a passion for traveling to attend medical conferences, teaching CCD, volunteering at church and elections, as well as bridge and bowling.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George Dowling; and her siblings: Amelia Blasich, Gina Pighin, and Henry Mussio. She is survived by her children: Linda Stidham, Stephen Dowling, and Thomas Dowling; and her grandchildren: Angela, Sean and Troy Stidham, Ryan, Joe and Elizabeth Dowling, and Savannah Dowling.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home (1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012) with a rosary occuring at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church (5819 W Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington, TX 76016). Committal service will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 12:30pm in Moore Memorial Gardens (1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012).
