Arlington, announces his passing on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
Born on February 22, 1933 to Morris Dean Talley Sr. and Beatrice (Stewart) Talley,
Toby grew up in his hometown of Monroe, Louisiana. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing
with his beloved grandparents. With his love of the outdoors, Toby became very proficient and developed many talents and outdoor survival skills. He and his family were very proud when he earned the honor of
being pinned as an Eagle Scout.
He loved sharing stories about his childhood, his many experiences, the times he spent traveling and
all the adventures with his family along the way.
On January 27, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Toby enlisted in the US Air Force. He proudly served his country, being stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi, until he was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in January 1961.
He went on to attend Northeast Louisiana State College where he received a pharmacy
degree and worked as a pharmacist for over 45 years.
Toby is survived by his beloved wife, Josie Talley; sons, Gary Talley and Eric Talley
and his wife Rachel; daughter, Monica Wayts and her husband Daryle;
granddaughters, Marlena Girouard, Emily Hernandez, Brooklyn Hernandez,
Trinity Talley, Ava Talley, and Kinley Talley.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Toby Dean Talley and Phillip Dean Talley.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. A celebration of Toby’s life will be at 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home. Interment with Air Force Honors will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis, Arlington, TX 76012.
