Claudine was born in Midlothian on Jan. 1, 1940. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1958. She was previously married to Thad Leroy Watson, and later to Leslie Vaughn. Claudine worked for JP Morgan Chase Bank in Arlington and retired after 20 years on Dec. 30, 2004. She had a passion for working in her yard, finding it therapeutic, as well as spending time with family.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, Claud Franklin Butler and Hazel Irene York Butler; brother, Jerry Butler; son, Roy Lynn Watson; and granddaughter, Monica Lynn Thomas.
Survivors: Daughter, Nancy Watson; grandsons, James Lewis Jr. and Hunter Thomas; sister, Barbra Pickens; brother, Larry Butler; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
