It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Sue Martin on Friday August 15, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Born on August 11, 1938 to parents Maude Johnson and Burt Grissom, she is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years William E. Martin of Fort Worth TX, her sons Randal E. Martin of Youngsville LA and Ronald E. Martin of Fort Worth TX, her daughters Tamela A. Pollard of Greenwood LA and Susan K. Pallett of Grenwood LA, her grandchildren Matthew Martin, Chelsie Liegey, Lindsay Sathre, Sarah Landis, Nick Pallett, Heather Pollard and Patrick Webb, her great-grandchildren Brennon Landis and Liam Landis, and her siblings Dorothy Burdine, Iris Resnek, and David Grissom. Norma was very involved in the church, prayer groups, and also taught Sunday school. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers and garage sales. Family and friends may pay respects at the Moore Funeral Home on Monday August 18, 2014, from 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Bethal Temple Assembly of God (6801 Meadowbrook Dr, Fort Worth) at 10 am, followed by the interment at Moore Memorial Gardens.
