Olen D. Wright

Olen was a member of the I.A.M. & A.W. for 60 years. He retired from General Dynamics and the I.A.M. & A.W. in 1990. He was a retired I.A.M. & A.W. Business Representative and past Directing Business Representative/President for I.A.M. & A.W. District 776. After he retired he was elected to serve as the President of the I.A.M. & A.W. Machinist 776 Retiree Organization and served as their President for 24 years. Mr. Wright was a World War II Army Veteran. Mr. Wright was an avid Bass fisherman and belonged to the Fielder Church Bass Club.

He was survived by Cheryl Denise Maben and Son-In-Law Dave M. Maben, Amber Skinner, Christy Martin, Stephanie Sutton, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Mr. Wright will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, Arlington , Texas. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM, Arlington , Texas. An interment will occur Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington , Texas. A reception will be held in the main reception hall of the funeral home following the interment.
