Paul Cornelius

Paul Cornelius, age 74, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024. He was born February 2, 1950, in Duncan, Oklahoma to J.N. and Oleta Cornelius. Paul was raised in Rule, Texas and graduated from Rule High School in 1968

Paul married Janell Cornelius on May 20,1980, they were married for over 40 years. He was an Operations Manager for ABF Freight systems in the Dallas area where he worked for more than 35 years.

Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing with his 2 brothers, son, and grandsons. He also loved Spending time with his grandchildren and great Grandchildren. He was a devoted Christian and was very involved with his church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janell, father J.N. Cornelius, and his grandson Jeffrey Callan Connally.

He is survived by his mother Oleta Cornelius of Rule, TX; brothers Richard Cornelius of Malacoff, TX, Tommy (Debbie) Cornelius of Malacoff, TX ; daughter Melissa Cornelius of San Angelo; son Jeffrey (Darcy) Cornelius of Abilene; granddaughter Mandy (Jose) Villalobos of Grand Prairie; grandsons Dakota Donaldson, Dalton (Paige) Donaldson, Vernon Cornelius; great Grandchildren Ivonne Villalobos, Evelyn Villalobos, and Colter Donaldson; Along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by stepchildren Calvin (Becky) Waltman, Donna (Robert) Sudbay, Jerry Waltman, and James (Sue) Waltman, several step grand and great grandchildren.

A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
