Richard Miller Wilson Jr.

Richard Wilson of Arlington, TX, also known as Little Richard, Rich, and other nicknames related Richard, passed away on February 5th, 2021. He was born in Dallas in 1969 to Rebecca Wilson and Richard Wilson Sr and was a proud father to Tyler, Preston, and Mack. He attended Lamar high School where he’d go on to meet his best friend Jeff Carter. Richard would have his first son, Tyler at 22 years old and would work multiple jobs, day and night to provide while coaching each of his teams in baseball, football, basketball, and soccer. His next accomplishment would be going to UTA and graduating with an accounting degree and would join many of his family members working for Alcon.

Richard went on to have his second and third sons, Preston and Mack. While starting and successfully running his own business, he again would coach each of Preston & Mack’s teams. It was evident his time and daily agenda was Preston & Mack first, work second and would jump at a text message from class for an opportunity to bring lunch or tend to his boys. He most enjoyed spending time and being around his sons, father (Popo), and sister Paige.

Richard is preceded in death by his Mother, Rebecca. He is survived by his father Richard Sr, sons Tyler, Preston, & Mack, sisters Paige and Shelby, aunts, cousins, and was the glue of the family.

An outdoor visitation will be held on March 3rd, from 2-3 pm at the Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.
