Bob was born July 4, 1936, in Glassport, Pa., to Hengust and Alice Finney. He served four years in the Air Force, where he met his wife. Bob was a mechanical engineer and was known for his expertise in stress analysis of composite rubber. He enjoyed traveling to several places around the world with his wife and family.
Survivors: His wife of 54 years, Barbara; children, Debra, Scott and Karen; grandchildren, Joshua and Alyssa; sister, Jean Milliken and husband, Phil; and brother, Rick Finney and wife, Pam.
