

Robert Bruce Holland, age 70, of Arlington, TX, passed away, Monday, January 12, 2015 in Arlington. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday January 19, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home South Chapel, 1219 North Davis Drive, in Arlington. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-5 p.m.
He was born Robert Bruce Holland on April 19, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, son of Emmett Norman Holland and Oletha Evelyn Holland. Bruce was a salesman most of his adult life, selling dry cleaning supplies throughout Oklahoma and Texas before settling in Arlington, Texas. He was currently employed by FabriClean Supply. Bruce was known for his quick wit, big heart, love for Oklahoma football and enjoyed watching the thoroughbred race horses run. His belief in working hard, being honest, and treating people with respect were attributes that created countless trusted and loving relationships. He will be dearly missed by his many friends, family, colleagues and customers.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert Jason Holland who passed away October 12, 2014. He was a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and descendent of George F. and Viola M. Byrd. Bruce is survived by his wife, Betsy; son, Kevin Lee Holland and daughter, Gina Nicole Ryan. Step-children include: Angel Eddingfield, Holley Thomas, Clifton (Chip) Amos, Jennie Durham and Kim Leeper. Bruce’s large extended family included grandchildren: Kira Ryan, Jacey Ryan, Cole Ryan, Jeremy Thomas, Haley Butticarlo, Gunner Amos, Ridglea Durham and Gage Durham. Bruce also has two brothers currently living in the Oklahoma City area, David Holland and Steve Holland.
