Ronald DeWayne Harris

Ronald DeWayne Harris 65 of Springtown TX, passed peacefully at home august 12th 2020. After a 7 year battle with liver cancer, Ron is now dancing in heaven with the Lord. An Army Vet that celebrated his 18th birthday in Baumholder Germany. Ron spent his days after his service as a welder by trade, focusing on a career making automotive lifts. Retiring early, Ron spent his later years picking up grocery orders for his local food bank, and delivering food to senior citizens.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Harris, 57, of Springtown, His father Billie Eugene Harris Sr. 87, of Garland, His brother and sister Gene Harris and Frankie Harris, His 5 children Melissa Carson 40, of Springtown, April Gomez 38, of Euless, Joey Long 35, of Fort Worth, Amber Long, 33 of Springtown Brittany Harris, 32, of Branson Missouri. With eleven grandchildren Ron was never lacking a mowing buddy. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Papa, and most of all Father. Fly High Daddy, we love you for forever and a day.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services. A visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012 on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 5 until 8 PM. A celebration of Ronald's life will be held in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Dallas-Worth National Cemetery on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 12:30 PM.
