

Roxanne Marie Juni was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 1, 1951 to Charles and Shirley Juni. The family moved to Midland, Texas when she was less than a year old and remained there until she went to college. Roxanne received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Minnesota in 1972 and her MBA from American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona in 1974. She married Michael Anthony Skawin in 1977. Roxanne took her first job as a trainee in the international division of J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City. She subsequently moved to southern California to become a financial analyst at McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation. She accompanied her husband to Washington D.C. and became a commercial officer at the British Embassy. After a satisfying and fulfilling career, with both managerial and supervisory responsibilities, she elected to take early retirement and become a stay-at-home mother to her two sons, David and Matthew.
Mrs. Skawin was preceded in death by her father, Charles Juni and her brother William Juni.
Survivors include her husband Michael Skawin, and two sons David and Matthew Skawin of Arlington, her mother, Shirley Juni of Fort Worth, sister, Karla (John) Henderson, nephew Steve (Abigail) Henderson, and niece Marlee Henderson all of Austin.
