Santos V. Ramirez

He was born on October 18, 1958 in Lubbock, Texas to Eduardo and Concepcion Ramirez. He married Mary A. Martinez November 3, 1993 in Idalou, Texas. Santos had a long standing career in the food industry as a chef, and retired from the Loews Hotel in October of 2023.

He enjoyed riding bicycles in competitions, loved barbequing and taking care of his yard. He was a dedicated family man. He is preceded by his mother Concepcion, father Eduardo, stepmother Petra, brother George and nephew Louie Jones Ramirez.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife Alma Ramirez, daughter, Vanessa Ramirez, granddaughter Kylie Ramirez of Arlington, Texas. Brothers; Edward Ramirez of Boston Massachusetts, Julian and Nicole Ramirez of Lubbock, Texas, Timothy and Angelica Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Jose Louis of Lubbock, Texas, Christopher and Graciela Ramirez of Arlington, Texas and one sister Connie and Jarrigan Mejia of Lubbock, Texas

Burial for Santos Ramirez was June 13, 2024, at DFW National Cemetery.
