

Memorial service: 6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 2045 SE Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, the Rev. Louis Carr officiating. Visitation: will begin 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Sara Vaughn Bentley was born March 4, 1990, in Dallas. She graduated from Bowie High School in Arlington, attended the University of Texas at Arlington and was a student at the University of Washington, six months away from receiving her bachelor of arts in accounting. Sara married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, David Bentley, on May 1, 2010. They moved to Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Seattle, Wash., in September 2010. Sara brightened every life she touched and was known for her happy, kindred spirit, spunky flair, and bubbly personality. Her life was an adventure filled with love and joy. She was only here for a short while, but left an everlasting impression.
She was a loyal friend to all she met and a treasured wife, daughter, sister and granddaughter.
You loved everyone with your entire heart, and we all loved you back.
Survivors: Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Army Specialist David A. Bentley; parents, Deanna Stirling and Michael Garcia; stepfather, Joe Moad; sisters, Misha Garcia Johnson, Ana Maria Garcia and Jessica Garcia; grandmother, Martina Garcia; grandparents, Carol and Bob Cook; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends blessed with her beautiful, happy soul and who will miss her for a lifetime.
