John 5:24 states, “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” Sarah Sue Moore Dunn, age 81 went to be with our Lord on February 11, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Sarah was born on January 14, 1945 in Winnsboro, Texas to John Benjamin Moore, and Susie Pearl Moore. Sarah was raised by her loving family in Grand Prairie, Texas and graduated from UT Arlington. Sarah worked for over 35 years at the USDA, Food and Nutrition Service as a Program Specialist.
In her spare time, our beloved Sarah enjoyed fast cars, shopping (it didn’t matter where) with family and friends, playing Bingo (and winning), going to Ladies bible class on Sunday mornings, and spending time with family and friends. She loved to go out and eat with her Sunday School friends. She also gave her time to her church as a volunteer at VBS with toddlers. She also loved animals and volunteered at the animal shelter.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a person that never knew a stranger. Her generosity to others was well known. She was a beloved family member and friend with a heart as big as her beloved Texas.
She is preceded in death by: Her father, John B. Moore, and her mother Susie P Moore.
She is survived by: Andy and Darlene Brown from Waco, Texas; John and Geneva Eaton from Muskogee, Oklahoma, Lynda Anderson from Spring, Texas, along with her sons, Bryan and Jason Anderson as well as Thresa and John Dickenson from Spring, Texas as well as their children David and Tiffany Dickenson, their sons John and Matthew Dickenson, and their daughter Wendy Dickenson and her daughter, Caroline Dickenson.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was loved and cherished. “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived-the things God has prepared for those who love him.” Revelation 21:4. Sarah is enjoying her eternal reward with her Lord and Savior, walking those streets of Gold, and healed completely.
