It is such a surprise to see this.  I worked with Sondra at LTV for 15 years on the Stealth Bomber black program.  I admired her greatly!   She was one of the kindest ladies I have known and welcomed me onto the program when she was secretary to Henry Spence who was director at the time and of course becoming vice president.   She was charming and always smiling.   She and new husband Trent came to a happy hour celebration for us as we had married a short time after she did and then I left the company in 1998.   She inspired me with her professionalism and great ability to make one feel so comfortable in her presence.   I am so glad she was a part of my life.

Sondra, I will miss you so very much.  You and I had many a good conversation while working at Vought Aircraft.  You truly were a good friend which I loved very much.  You were such an asset to our friendship and we had so much in common.  I know you loved our God and I am sure you are with Him now.  May The Lord bless you and yours and May The Lord bring much comfort and love to the family you have left behind as only He can do.

To Sondra’s family,
Sondra was such a sweet, loving, and compassionate lady. I was very fortunate to be in married into her family. She was my sweet sister-in-law; my husband, Travis, was her brother. She was a great sister and so much fun to be around. When she and Travis got together they would always reminisce about their childhood growing up as Navy kids and the different places they lived. The stories they could tell. They were always there for each other throughout their lives, during the good times and the bad, always having each other’s back. I worked at LTV/Vought with Sondra and there was not one person that I know that knew Sondra that didn’t love her. She was a very giving person. She was kind to everyone and loved her job and the people she worked with over the years. You could always count on Sondra to be the leader of the pack to get the job done. I was very proud to say she was my sister-in-law.

She loved to travel, was a great cook, a meticulous gardener, always working in her yard and having the honor of “Yard of the Month” recipient. One of her passions was shopping for antiques and showing her great discoveries she had found and telling the history of that particular piece.

Her biggest joy in life was her family. She was so proud of Stephani and Todd and their accomplishments they made over the years. Her grandson, Grayson, was her delight. She was so proud of the fine young man he was growing up to be. She loved him to the “moon and back”. Her family meant everything to her. She and Trent had a wonderful marriage and they were truly meant for each other.

If you had the good fortune to know Sondra, I can honestly say you loved her. She was just that type of person. To know Sondra was to love Sondra. She was a blessing in my life and Travis’ and we will miss her, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace my dear Sondra. Love you.

Sondra was a good friend and one of the nicest people I have known. I worked with her at LTV/Vought for about thirty years. She was secretary to my group leader Henry Spence for many years, including when he was a Director and a Vice President. She was loved by all. Condolences to her family.

Sondra was a beautiful person and long time friend.  We worked together in Dallas before we found LTV Aerospace in 1969.  I came over and took the tests and was hired and they told me to tell my friends to come over, if they were interested.  I called Sondra 
 and the rest is history.  We were both delighted to come
to this company and we stayed for a long time.  She has always
been a true friend to me and I will always love her.  My love and
condolences go to her sweet family.   



Dearest Family and you are distant cousins.  Sondra and grew up at My Grandma Harrelson s home on Gladstone in Oak Cliff.  My Grandma was her Aunt.  We would set on the front porch and let the wind from the giant atic fan  blow on us. We would also make mud pues and run up and down the curved step guards at the ft side walk.  We would pick on Travis    She was a wonderful blessing to our would.  Love and memories always 

Sondra was a kind and caring woman.  Always smiling, always helping, always patient.  May her memory be a blessing.

Sondra was such a caring and loving person. I loved being her niece. One of my favorite memories is the time she and I went to the Georgia O’Keefe exhibit together in Dallas. It was the 1st time I had her all to myself. We had a wonderful time and later in the day met other family members at the state fair. It was a wonderful day.  

My deepest condolences to Trent and  Sondra’s family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sondra was a very special type of person, that could win your heart with her sweet smile and caring ways. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, friend and employee. I feel so blessed to have had her as a friend and work beside her for several years. She definitely  put an imprint on my heart. If you knew Sondra, you loved her.
