Virginia “Jean” Mae Gardner, 82, of Arlington, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. She was born in San Saba, Texas on Feb. 2, 1932. She was married to J.D. Brown on December 23, 1946. She was a member of VFDW 8561 Ladies Auxiliary, and had a passion for Bingo and spending time with family and friends. She was survived by son James Brown, daughter Linda Smith and son-in-law Calvin Smith, son Ronny Brown and daughter-in-law Mary Brown, brother Larry Sutton and sister-in-law Wanda Sutton, brother Tommy Sutton and sister-in-law Jackie Sutton. She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband, J.D. Brown, her daughters, Charlotte and Nona Rae Brown and her parents Damon and Lillie Sutton.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00 PM, February 17, 2014 at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation Sunday February 16, 2014 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home
