Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Moore Funeral Home South Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from noon until service time. Interment with full military honors will follow at Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington.
He was born William Leroy Lindsey on May 14, 1928, a son of Lee Lindsey and Beulah Davis Lindsey. William married Loretta Bentley on September 15, 1956 in Arlington. He retired from the United States Army serving over 20 years.
William is survived by his wife, Loretta Lindsey of Corsicana; two daughters, Loretta Smallwood and husband Daryl of Chipley Florida, and Charlotte Lindsey of Corsicana; one son, William Dale Lindsey of Corsicana; one brother, Mackey Lindsey and wife Nancy of Barry; one sister, Edna Jackson; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
