A lot of grand memories growing up. Butch and were joined at the hip. Not a day would go by that we were not in trouble. According to him I was always the cause and he was always innocent. Although I think my Aunt Judy knew better. The thought that comes to mind is I spent a lot of time  staying at his house. We would always sneak out his bedroom window at night. When Aunt Judy caught us she made us stay up in the attic, You had to go through the kitchen and dining room to get to the stairs with full view of the living room making it impossible to escape. The bedroom had one window to escape but it was on the second floor. Butch convinced me that we could jump out the window and not far to fall. I would go first and he would follow. We threw pillows out the window to break the fall. After I jumped he changed his mind when we discovered to get back in we had to knock on the door and walk up the stairway in front of everyone. After hitting the ground hard I had to knock on the door with a arm full of pillows and explain to Aunt Judy why I was outside with all the pillows. When she marched me up stairs to ask Butch if this was true, he of coarse would be sound of sleep and didn’t know what she was talking about. It was not the first or the last time things like this happened. Now I am sure he is filling Jesus in on how I always was trouble and he was innocent before I can get up there and defend myself. Butch we were so close. Although as we got older we grew apart you have always been part of me and always will. See you soon my buddy.

Don and I want you to know your in our thoughts and prayers.

I always went to church with my grandmother when I was little. I remember when the church was across the street from where it is now and it was just a small little thing. Pastor Lawlor was so kind and loving. He was there for my family when my mom passed away tragically and spoke at her memorial. Him and his church has been such a huge part of my family's lives since I can remember as a little child. Condolences to his family. I know my gram loved him dearly. May they rest easy. They're both in heaven now and with God and all loved ones. 

My most sincere condolences to the Lawlor family.  I just want you to know that in the few years that I got to now "Butch" I could feel the sincere heart and love that he had for, first  for our Lord and Savior JesusChrist , then for his family and for his brothers and sisters in Christ. We know that he is resting in the arms of Jesus. God bless you and comfort you.

I remember family fun at the house on Jackson Hill Road, Uncle Butchy's teasing and smile, I remember stories of him and my parents in their younger, "wild" days, I admired his faithfulness to our Lord and how he always stood strong with his convictions. He did my husband's discipleship after he became a Christian. My Dad and Mom both have many cherished memories with he and Aunt Sue. We were so thankful to have him as part of our life and family. Thanks for sharing him with us~!
