He was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 12, 1937 the son of the late Henri and Irene (Cloutier) Brousseau.
Bruce married the Love of his life Carmella Levesque Brousseau. They recently celebrated 69 years together. Their children are Sandra, (Donald) Savage, Rita (Albert) Lepage, Anita Chabot, Andy (Melissa) Brousseau and Tina Letourneau. They also have 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Bruce worked at local Shoe Shops and at the Bates Mill as a young man. In 1978, he opened up Bruce's Place on Lincoln Street and that was his livelihood for 21 years. He made lots of friends from his life there. He also worked for United Wheelchair transporting patients to their appointments until he was 80 years old.
He was easy going and the life of the party, cracking jokes and singing songs. He was quite the entertainer. When you met him you would love him.
Our lives will be forever changed without his love and humor. Although, he did leave us so many great memories. He was the best.
