To  my  'Cuz".  Sandy Bottom, snow storms, plowing, the night before Christmas in the "sitting room". Thanksgiving, our families sitting down togeather, at Aunt Marion and Uncle Donald's, At Mom and Dad's, and at your Home, at the farm. " Marie and I having to eat all on our plate". Mary and Fred's kids came latter on, too. The "guys" would head out to go hunting.  The cows, the kitties, the hay, the summer days,.  Your Moms divinity fudge, hot bran muffins off the cook stove, homemade butter and jam at the big wooden dining room table, and those big old wooden chairs. The warmth from the wood fires. The sound of the kitchen door, the sitting chairs as you come in, the rocking chair by the fire.  Cloths drying on dryers by the wood cooking stove.  Fire wood piled high that was cut and gathered and brought up in the big old  truck and put in the woodshed, cut and split.The warmth of the fires.  Spoons in the spoon holder in the tall cupboard that sat on the floor.  Chocolate chip cookies, the sound of your voice,your caring quiet  ways, visits to neighbors and friends, and family. Visits to my Mom and Dad when they were well, and when they were not so well. Keeping me plowed out, stopping for a minute to say hi on a cold lonely winters' day..  The smell of spring, the cows, the planting, the little water hole with frogs and a turtle,  Going down back for the cows at milking time at the water hole, "the one way down in the pasture". Watching you milk, clean, and feed the cows. I really loved the barn...You sitting up on the tractor seat, watching you rack, turn the hay, bale. Watching you come around the field, with the heat of the summer just before a thunderstorm.  Powerful electric to the earth, you were always a part of it, always active..... always a part of life. And talk, talk, talk, talk, talk..... Thank you, Charlie...Love, Margie

Anne and Tina, I am so very sorry for your loss.  I will miss seeing Charlie sitting in front of the barn in his chair or on one of his many walks as I drove by on my way to work.

So sorry for your loss.  It sure will be different not seeing him bringing in the mail or waving to me on my way by.  Joanne P.

Charlie was such a friendly man. I got to know him working at Murrays Mega Mart in Turner with Anne. I love you Anne and I am deeply sorry for your familys loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Charlie would give you the shirt off his back whenever you needed help.  He was a regular visitor of my mom and dad and when my mom passed he was the rock that was there for my dad.  There were not many Sunday evenings that he wasn't at my parents house while I was growing up. He will be missed by many.

Life is way too short. You need to enjoy every minute of it.Charlie knew how to do that.He touched a lot of lives in this life now he will in the next life. R.I.P. Charlie. You will be missed by all.
