Debra Mansur

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Susan (Young) Mansur, 53, of Auburn ME, at Andwell Hospice House on Monday, November 25, 2024, after a courageous two-year battle with leukemia.

Debby was born at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH on September 24, 1971, to Richard F. and Evelyn E. (Murdough) Young.

She grew up in Concord, NH. Debby was a graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1989, and graduated with an associate’s degree from Thomas College in Waterville, ME in 1991.

Debby worked as a legal secretary for Benjamin DeTroy at Leary and DeTroy law offices for over 25 years.

She was active with Community Little Theater and Monmouth Community Players, both onstage and behind the scenes, as well as Camire School of Dance and Boy Scout Troop 121. She enjoyed making crafts and selling them at area craft fairs and researching family genealogy.

Debby was predeceased by her father, Richard Young; brother, Daniel Young; and father-in-law Norwood Mansur.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Kenneth Mansur, of Auburn, ME, and her loving son, Kyle Mansur, of Auburn, ME; her mother, Evelyn Young of Concord, NH, her sister Cheryl Stinson and brother-in-law George Stinson of Penacook, NH; her brother Michael Young of Concord, NH; sister-in law Katy and mother-in-law Carol; her beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle; her childhood friend Andrea; her cat Hope; and many friends.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Fortin and Pinette Group Funeral Home, 217 Turner St., Auburn, ME, followed by a Funeral Service from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Auburn, ME.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Andwell Hospice House for their compassionate care of Debby.
