He was born in Lewiston June 27, 1958, the only child born to Maurice and Gertrude (Morin) Levesque. Don attended St. Peter's School and graduated from St. Dominic's High School. On June 21, 1986 he married the love of his life, Susan Applegarth of Auburn and together they raised their two children, Scott and Sarah. He started his career as a Driver/Salesman at Eastern Distributors then went to Seltzer and Rhydholm before becoming a cutter at Supreme Slipper. He then spent twenty six years as a Driver/Salesman at Hostess Brands. Don was a loving, devoted, and hardworking husband and father who will be dearly missed. He coached his children's teams at Elliot Avenue Little League, South Lewiston Little League, South Lewiston Softball and LAYSA. He proudly served his son and the Lewiston High School Music Association Band Boosters for four years. He planned his summer vacation around summer band camp to make sure instruments were transported and water and snacks were served. He enthusiastically sat through four dance recitals a year for thirteen years cheering on his daughter. Among his other favorite enjoyments were family game night, bowling, camping with his family and friends, snowmobiling and playing in the men's softball league. He also spent many hours playing with his cats Belle, Ozzy, Oscar, and Felix. He leaves behind his wife Susan Levesque, his son Scott Levesque and his daughter Sarah Levesque, all of Lewiston; his father Maurice Levesque of Poland; his brother-in-law Dave (Lori) Applegarth; his sisters-in-law Kathy (Wally) Brown, Andrea Gauthier, Sally (Scott) Gelinas, Nancy (Kevin) Norcross and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
