Auburn- Donna M. Martel 46, of Lewiston died Wednesday February 22, 2012 at The Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side. She was born in Lewiston on September 25, 1965, daughter of Normand and Therese (Dutil) Lacasse. She was educated in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School class of 1983. She then went on to earn her Associates degree at Hesser College in New Hampshire. Donna married Conrad Martel on June 30, 1990. She worked at Tambrands for 25 years and recently was working at Idexx Laboratories. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. She loved the outdoors, whether it was camping, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking or spending time at camp in Eustis. She leaves her husband of 21 years Conrad Martel of Lewiston, daughter Angela Martel of Lewiston, her mother Therese Lacasse of Lewiston, a sister Carol Robitaille and her husband Don of Lewiston, a brother Rick Lacasse and his wife Amber Pena of Auburn, her two dogs Sassy and Katie and many nieces and nephews.
