Auburn- Eleanor Nelson Conant passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014. She was born in Marlboro, Mass. on August 17, 1922, the daughter of Gustav and Berta (Svensson) Nelson. The family moved to Auburn, Maine in 1935 where Eleanor attended schools and graduated from ELHS in 1940. She married Donald Earl Conant on September 4, 1942. Eleanor is survived by her husband , four children: Peter (Jean), Donna, Del (Chris) and Scott (Debbie); seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, and her beloved daughter, Lianne.
