Erna M. Tantillo

1931 - 2011

Auburn - Erna M. Tantillo 80 of 1857 Hotel Rd. died Friday April 22, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Aschaufburg, Germany January 24, 1931 a daughter of William and Tekla Schnellbach Geissler. Before moving to the United States in 1958 she married Joseph Tantillo Jr. Erna was educated in Germany and enjoyed snowmobiling, gardening, bird feeding and spending winters in Florida. She loved spending time with family and will be remembered for her outgoing personality and could bring a smile to everyone's face. Mrs. Tantillo is survived by her husband of 55 years Joseph Tantillo Jr. of Auburn, 3 sons, David Tantillo of Auburn and his companion Kim Reny, Donald Tantillo of Auburn and his companion Diane Gendron, Steven Tantillo of Greene and his companion Jackie Leask, 4 grandchildren, Aimee, Tony, DJ and Alex and a great-granddaughter Chloe.

Visitation will be held at Fortin/Auburn Saturday April 30, 2011, 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
