

Leo was born on August 13, 1939, in his grandparents’ home in Saco. Leo grew up in the Biddeford/Saco area until his graduation from St. Louis High School.
Following graduation, Leo entered the United States Air Force. He was an accountant and finance specialist. He spent four years of his service time in England. Leo was very proud of the time he served in the military. As he looked back on his life, he loved to share the stories of his time in the Air Force and his adventures in Europe.
Leo worked as an accountant for several Biddeford businesses upon his return to civilian life. He married his high school sweetheart, and they had a son, Marc. After the divorce, Leo worked for Sea Breeze Lobster Company in Portland as an accountant/comptroller. It was there he met Diane Branyon who came into the office to pitch a sports investment to Leo’s boss. Leo went to Boston to hear Diane sing and a few months later they were married. They share three children: David, Linda and Michael.
Leo joined Court Street Baptist Church in 1983 and was active in the church. He served as a deacon and was part of the Finance Committee.
Leo started a tax and accounting business. When he moved to Auburn, he became the comptroller for Auburn Motor Sales and then worked for two other dealerships. He became a realtor for a year before he became the manager for Muise Music Ministries until the death of Diane.
Leo married Marjorie Muise in 2011. They loved going to the music theater in Brunswick and their one trip to Sight and Sound Theater. A favorite place for Leo was the beach. Leo loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was also happiest playing cribbage with his friend Don.
Leo is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Auburn, his four children Marc and his wife Myriam of Florida, David of Auburn, Linda of Auburn, and Michael and his wife, Margaret of Turner; his stepchildren Joshua and his wife Tasha of Livermore and Jacob and his wife Stephanie of Kernersville, NC; and twelve grandchildren Christina, Rayne, Silas, Harrison, Liam, Samuel, Alana, Hannah, Thomas, Hendrix, Deacon and Sophie. He was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Jennifer.
A period of visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 10:00 am at Court Street Baptist Church in Auburn, Maine. A Celebration of Life with follow the visitation at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Leo’s honor to Court Street Baptist Church at 129 Court Street, Auburn, Maine or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
