Nancy was always known for opening her home to others. Most summer days were spent at the home she shared with her husband, Richard, in the company of extended family and friends. There they enjoyed swimming in the pool, having BBQ’s, hosting lobster feeds, singing karaoke, and nights by the fire. In her spare time, Nancy liked knitting, crocheting, playing bingo, watching her soap operas, and the occasional glass of red wine.
In her last few years Nancy first lived at Maison Marcotte, where she made many friends. She spent her time playing and calling Bingo and attending social events. She later resided at the Chapman House, where she gained additional friends and participated in similar activities.
Nancy’s family wishes to send a gracious “Thank You” to all who cared for her at the Chapman House in Auburn, and the amazing women at Andwell Health Partners- Hospice who made her last days very special. Our hearts are warmed that she was supported by such amazing people during her last few months.
