

LEWISTON: Patricia J. Marshall, 87, of Auburn passed away Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Montello Manor in Lewiston. She was born in Lewiston on December 1, 1927 the daughter of the late Laforest R.V. and Cleda Pearl (Hunnewell) Jackson. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended Auburn schools. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1945. After graduation, Pat did secretarial work for both R.I. Mitchell and Gould & Scammon in Auburn. On September 25, 1955 she married Raymond G. Marshall at her home in Auburn. Patricia was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Alden M. Gayton Post 31 and a past Kora Shrine Lady. She was also a member of the Good Sam Pine Tree Gypsies and N.A.F.C.A. camping groups. She greatly enjoyed playing the piano, reading, collecting and camping. She was also very involved with the Court Street Baptist Church. Patricia is survived by her three children; Mark E. Marshall of Saco, Gordon W. Marshall of Auburn and Loreli (Julie A.) Jones and her husband Travis of Mechanic Falls. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond G. Marshall. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday November 10 at 11am also at the funeral home in Auburn followed by committal prayers at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Auburn.
