

Auburn- Raymond A. Cyr 83, formerly of Sabattus and Lewiston died Saturday January 12, 2013 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born in St. Mathias Canada on February 10, 1929 a son of the late Beloni and Dora (Caron) Cyr. Raymond was a hand sewer for many years for local shoe shops and later worked as a security guard for Ace Security. He was a member of Holy Cross Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching hockey, playing guitar and the violin. He was predeceased by his first wife Noella and his second wife Yolande. Raymond is survived by his three sons, Paul Cyr and wife Marie of Lewiston, Roger Cyr of Lewiston and Jerry Cyr and wife Sally of Poland, six grandchildren Melinda Cyr, Jimmy Cyr, Joshua Cyr, Bryant Cyr, Chelsea Noella Cyr and Troy Cyr, and five great grandchildren.
