He attended local schools, graduating from EBHS, with the proud accomplishment of earning SYL league 440 Yard Champion.
To know Aaron is to truly love him. He is a giant of fathers among fathers. The love for his children permeated his children’s lives ever so evident to all who knew him.
He worked, lived, and dreamed for their future, as he said, “my only desire is for my children to know and love JESUS”. No better “MR. MOM” could be found as he raised them with true unconditional Godly-fatherly/motherly love.
Aaron is the epitome of many things. So resourceful, imaginative, and creative, he had the gift of making the most of the little afforded him. Family activities brought the sound of laughter, love, and that gentle embrace.
Aaron was an artist with words. A prolific writer, he was able to paint an indelible portrait of the love and beauty of his vision for his children. His genre of music seemed as wide as the universe, style and language were no barriers, always surrounding himself in the sounds of love and laughter, like bubbles of life.
He was a nostalgic individual, always saying, “Hey, Dad, I should have been born in the 60’s.” He has an uncanny gift of recall and memorization. His recall of Scripture, sports stats, names, events en masse, was simply amazing, becoming the resource person of the family, “ask Aaron”.
Aaron transcended lines of relationships, able to blend son, father, uncle, cousin and friendship, with counselor, advisor, confidant and the “be there” person, with the gift GOD gifted him with.
His circle of friends was limited, yet he was friend to everyone.
Always, helpful, always willing, always loving, always forgiving. That is Aaron, our loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend. We are consoled knowing Aaron is a strong believer in JESUS, baptized in HIS name, a prayer warrior, attending Anchor of Hope in Christ Jesus, and now more than a conqueror, finishing his race.
His legacy and “life-prints” will continue to influence and live on in the life of those whom he touched and loved.
A huge thanks to ALL who were there for us during this extreme season of sorrow and mourning.
Aaron is survived by the love of his life, his three children, Jazmyn, Stella, and Nolan; loving parents, Tom and Maggie, brothers, Tommy (Natalie); Bryan (Yoko), loving nephews, nieces, and all family loved ones.
REST IN PEACE, MIJO. TIL GOD REUNITES US ONCE AGAIN!
“But they that wait upon the LORD, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
