Alfred P. Ramirez "AL YOUR PAL" 1967 - 2010 On Wednesday, August 25th, at the age of 43, Al lost his battle with cancer. Alfred was born on February 15, 1967 to Romaldo and Nellie Ramirez. He was preceded in death by his father six months ago, Al looked forward to their joyous reunion. Al leaves behind his loving wife of five months, Jerri; mother, Nellie; sister, Lisa and JR Garcia; sister, Elizabeth and Anthony Cartwright. Al loved being an uncle to his nephew, Jacob Garcia and nieces, Rayna and Pricilla Cartwright. He will also be missed by his father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Sarah Miller; brother-in-law, Gary Miller; sister-in-law, Tammy Longest; and two nieces, Paige and Bailey. His dog, Saphira, aka 'Princess' also had a very special place in his heart. Al loved traveling, going to casinos, listening to Tejano music, family reunions and playing pool. He played on three pool teams, The 8 Ball Tribe, Cruzen, and East Siders. Visitation will be Monday, August 30, from 4-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., in the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 9:00 a.m., at St. Francis Church, 900 H Street. Alfred, your strength and courage are an inspiration to us all, your family and countless friends will miss you and love you forever.
