Our beloved Angie was the queen of our family and the queen of our hearts. She was kind and generous, and her infectious giggle was a joyful sound. Her heart was big, her spirit was sweet and her love for her family was endless. Her happiest times and our favorite memories were when the family was gathered together eating, laughing and celebrating. She loved listening to Mexican music, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and her favorite, Bob Dylan.
Angie was married for over 70 years to her husband Alex, who called her "My one and only." Together they raised four children, and began a dynasty of 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great-grandchildren.
All of her life, Angie worked hard and cared for others. In her younger years she worked in the fields and later she was a housekeeper for several families. She became especially close to the Sill family and long after she stopped working they remained close to her. She was an active member of the PTA when her children were young and an energetic supporter of her sons' Boy Scout activities.
She loved to travel with friends and family, whether to Carmel and Pebble Beach, Southern California, and the Central Coast, or destinations such as Cancun and Hawaii.
Angie was preceded in death by her mother and father, her son and daughter-in-law, Alex Jr. and Carrie Monsibais, and her sister Maria Morales. She is survived by her husband Alex, twin sons, Louie and wife Shelly Monsibais, Robert and wife Cathy Monsibais, and daughter Pamela Monsibais. She also leaves her siblings Ralph Morales, Annie Zaragoza, Henry and wife Irene Morales, Josephine and husband Mike Abreu, and Vera and husband Vince Padula. She is also survived by her best friend and sister-in-law Bertha Monsibais and her husband David.
