It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Anibal Garcia at the age of 48 on May 11th, 2023, in Bakersfield, CA. Anibal was born to Felipe and Francisca Garcia on November 25th, 1974, in Tulare, CA. He graduated from Delano High.
Anibal’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He was always putting the needs of loved ones before his own and lending a helping hand to those in need. His unexpected passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of his loved ones. He enjoyed visiting with family, watching a good movie, playing poker, watching his Washington Redskins and San Diego Padres play; definitely enjoyed a good laugh, and he usually had a good joke or two to tell.
Anibal preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Francisca Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife Annette; his sons, Daniel and Anthony; his brothers, Felipe and Felix; Father and mother-in-law, Salvador and Margarita Gonzalez; Sister-in-law, Evelyn, Priscilla and Daisy; Brother-in-law, Roy and Gary; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins; and brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico. Last, but certainly not least, his beloved dog Charlie.
Anibal’s presence is deeply missed, and he will forever be in our hearts. As a Christian man, he treasured his faith, and it’s through that faith we know one day we’ll all be together again.
A visitation service will be held in his honor on Friday June 23rd, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, located at 9101 Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, thoughts, support, messages, flowers, and donations.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hillcrestmemorial.com for the Garcia family.
