Cassandra dedicated her life to Christ over 20 years ago and continued to rededicate her life to ensure that, regardless of her life struggles, she was always right with the Lord.
Cassandra was the first to admit that she made plenty of mistakes during her life and, for many years, lived unconventionally. Nonetheless, she never allowed others to steal her joy, dim her light, or make her feel less than who she really was – God’s Child.
Cassandra understood the struggles of living life with mental and physical challenges and was always grateful for the support she received from her family and friends. To pay it forward, Cassandra dedicated many years working as a nurse advocating for others who also suffered from mental and/or physical difficulties. She made sure they knew they were seen.
Cassandra had an infectious spirit of laughter and loved to live life to the fullest. She loved to listen to music, dance, cook, shop, and most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Cassandra will be reunited with her mom and dad, Patsy & Moses Curry Sr.
Cassandra’s legacy will be carried on by her two children: Larrell Brown and Asha Pender; by her siblings: Larry Williams, Terrell Wise and Tenika Curry; by her six grandchildren and by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cassandra’s physical presence may no longer be here on this earth with us, but the joy in her smile will live on forever!
