Born on September 9, 1946, in French Camp, California, Charles was a dedicated family man, hard worker, and loyal friend to many. Charles was married to the love of his life, Barbara, until her passing on December 24, 1998. Together, they raised two sons, Donnie and Steven Isbell. Sadly, Donnie preceded him in death in August 2024. Charles was also the proud and loving legal guardian of Daniel Isbell, whom he raised as his own since childhood.
A truck driver for 55 years, Charles found great pride in his work at Kern Brothers Trucking in Bakersfield, California. Outside of his career, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. Charles was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and steadfast devotion to those he loved. Charles spent his final months living in Tennessee with Daniel, creating cherished memories and enjoying the comforts of family.
He is survived by his son Steven Isbell and Daniel Isbell, who will continue to honor his legacy of love and dedication.
