He is survived by his parents Ed and Cathryn Joiner; two sisters Sara and Megan; brother Matt and two nephews Greyson and Conner; Grandmothers Triny Morrison and Bernice Joiner and his loving girlfriend Heather Butterworth; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Daniel loved Sunday football with his family and the serenity of the ocean. He was a beacon of light in all of our lives. He was quick to wit and slow to anger. He was a loving son, a caring brother, and a doting uncle. He will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday October 22 from 5 to 7 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Services will be held at ST. Francis Catholic Church in Bakersfield CA on Thursday October 23 at 10 am followed by a gravesite memorial at Hillcrest.
