Darryl Glen Cagle June 11, 1948 - October 19, 2011 Darryl was born in Modesto, California, on June 11,1948, and passed away October 19, 2011 in Bakersfield, after a battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Adford "Johnny" Cagle. He is survived by his mother, Marcella Cagle; his children Nancy Williams of Arkansas and son John Cagle of Bakersfield; his grandchildren Ashleigh, Brittany, Christian, Jackson, Caleb, Dahlia; and great grandchild Briahna; his two brothers, Steven Cagle and Bruce Cagle, and sister Diana Oberlies; and numerous nieces and nephews. Darryl worked as driller in the oil industry for several years and last employed with Cagle Roofing in Bakersfield. He graduated from Foothill High School in 1967 and attended Bakersfield Junior College. He loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all. Chapel service will be held on Monday October 24, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m., with viewing from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011.
