Devlin Brice Autry was born on August 18, 1972 in Bakersfield, CA. He passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2022. Devlin leaves behind his wife of 26 years and high-school sweetheart, Kristine Autry (Marcoux), his two children Drew and Bailey Autry; his twin brother Derrick Autry; brother Michael Autry; his father Carl Autry; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Devlin graduated from South High School in 1991. He worked for 22 years at the California Department of Water Resources as an HEP Technician where he had many friends.
He was an avid outdoorsman who excelled in hunting and fishing. Some would say he was a mountain goat, he could climb anywhere! Devlin’s personality was full of whit (if you know you know) and his smile was contagious. He also had a passion for racing that began at a young age as he raced odysseys with his brother, Derrick. He raced a late model car at the Mesa Marin Raceway and just so he wouldn’t get rusty with his racing skills, he went on to race a dwarf car. Among his many hobbies, he had an engineering mind that could create anything, he was very talented with metal and woodworking.
The absence of Devlin will ripple through our hearts and homes for years to come. As we lay him to rest the only peace is knowing we will see him again someday.
Funeral services for Devlin will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 1 pm at the Hillcrest Mortuary in the Chapel with graveside service to follow.
