Donna was an only child growing up in Bakersfield and attended East Bakersfield High, Bakersfield College and San Jose State.
She worked for State Farm in Ventura County and when they built the office in Bakersfield everyone knew Donna would move back to her hometown and continued working until, she retired.
Donna enjoyed baking cakes, sewing, word search and crossword puzzles and watching old westerns and game shows. She also enjoyed hearing of the adventures that her kids took over the years.
Survivors include son, Michael R Lish of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Karen L Lish of Oxnard, CA; cousins, Dennis (MaryJo) Thompson; Rhonda Thompson of Chico, CA, and Cheryl Thompson of Prather, CA; Glenna Primm of Las Vegas, NV.
The family would like to thank her caregivers for their kind care in her last days. As per her request, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park next to her parents Alvin and Doris Guthals.
