Edward Darrell Chancellor

Ed married Betty Wheeler and was blessed with two daughters Tammie Weaver (partner David Avis) and Edie Brooks (husband Roy).

Ed was greeted by the love of his life, Mary Chancellor, whom he was happily married to for 40 years before her passing in October 2005, who he mourned everyday until his passing. He was also greeted by his parents, Edgar and Emma Chancellor. His sisters Juanita Stevens and Janice Chancellor and his grandson Adam Lee Chancellor Horttor. Ed is survived by his two daughters, his step-children Greg Harvey, Debra Manevel (spouse Randy) and Jeff Harvey (wife Deanna). His two sisters Shirley Chancellor and Joyce Truitt (spouse Roy "Dickey") Ed is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild plus numerous family and friends. Ed worked most of his life, like his father, in the oilfields. He finally retired from Wetherford. Ed enjoyed his life camping, fishing, bowling, gambling, traveling, and golfing, with his family and friends as much as possible.

Viewing will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park (9101 Kern Canyon Rd) on Friday Jan. 31, 2014 from 9am to 1pm, graveside services following at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to Mercy Hospice. We really want to thank them for all their help during our fathers last days with us.
