Edward G Escalera "Spider", 91, was born on July 2, 1926 in Brawley, California and passed away on December 11, 2017 peacefully at home. He was the son of Casemiro and Agapita Escalera. He had eight siblings. Edward was the husband of Helen Escalera, sharing 67 years of marriage. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 30+ years of service. He was an outgoing man with many interests. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and playing pool. He also was an avid LA Dodgers fan. Edward and Helen traveled all over the world and enjoyed many great experiences together. Edward is survived by his wife, Helen Escalera; children Frank Escalera (Eleanor) and Yvette Aguilar (Ruben); many grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will always love and miss him deeply.
