Eunice Carol Carter

Born December 1st, 1930 Passed August 1st, 2024

Eunice was born into the family of George and Mildred Guenther the fifth child in a family of 10 in Woodworth North Dakota. In 1936 the Guenther’s moved to Shafter California where Eunice attended elementary schools then graduating from Shafter High school in 1948.

Not long after Eunice met and later married Bill Carter in 1950. They shared a wonderful life together for 61 years until Bills passing in 2012.

Along life’s way they were blessed with four children Russel, Marian, Kyle and Lori.

Then in retirement adopted their twin grandsons and raised them as their own.

Over the years the couple experienced many both wonderful and difficult times.

Often people would ask them what the secret to their long marriage was. Without exception they would always point to their strong faith and devotion to Jesus Christ as the reason.

Eunice was preceded in death by Husband Bill, and Children Russel, Marian and Lori. And survived by Kyle his wife Kim, adopted twins Chase and Christian. Six grandchildren Meredith /John, Megan / Justin, Morgan, Lauren / Cody, Maddison / Aaryck and Casey. Also eight great grandchildren, Carter, Avery, Brooke, Jackson, Bella, Sara-george, Oliver and Ellen.

A graveside for Eunice will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shafter Cemetery, 18662 Santa Fe Way, Shafter, CA 93263.
