Frances K Beirne went to be in the loving arms of her Lord Jesus on April 1, 2022 with her husband and her daughter by her side. She was born on April 8, 1942 to Frank Richard Swaim and Geraldine Katherine Swaim in Bakersfield, Ca.
She grew up in Kern County and met the love of her life at age 15. As young sweethearts Frances and Jim married on June 20, 1959. They soon started their family having three children Shannon, Sheryl and Sharron. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her family grew and she enjoyed becoming a Nana. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she cared for them during the day when they were small and always showed her love and care towards them as they grew up and they called her friend. Frances was a very talented artist she loved to paint oil paintings, spend time tending to her plants, having family gatherings, baking and cooking, reading her Bible and on Sundays being in the house of the Lord. She loved her Jesus and look forward to the day that she would be with him in Heaven. She was truly loved and known as Nana to everyone. Her beautiful smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all of us who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and twin brother Richard Frank (Sonny) Swaim, daughter Sheryl Phillips and son-in-law Greg Phillips. She is survived by her husband James Beirne, son Shannon Beirne and daughter Sharron Tassey and son-in-law Randy Tassey, brother William Swaim and sister in-law Sheri Swaim. Grandchildren Marcus Tassey, Travis Phillips, Mitchell Tassey, Trever Phillips, Heaven Tassey and great granddaughter Enslie Madison Tassey, and many other family members.
Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 AM. Celebration Church, 10011 Rosedale Highway, Bakersfield, CA.
