Gail was born April 4th, 1952 in Bakersfield, California to Harold and Lois Bolin. She grew up running track and playing tennis for Beardsley Elementary, North High School and Bakersfield College. She worked at the First lady selling clothes. She met Louie Genel in 1974. They married on July 2, 1986. They had Jamie on May 14, 1987. Louie and Gail went everywhere together. Her favorite place to go was Las Vegas; enjoying the shows and racking in those black chips. She cherished the time she spent volunteering in Jamie's classrooms and often organized extracurricular activities for all the kids. Gail and her mother, Lois Cunningham, were two peas in a pod. They loved each other to no End. they had inside jokes, that only they knew the meaning to and were quite the dynamic duo. Gail left a huge footprint and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold R. Colin; brother, Raymond and sister, Raylene Smith. She is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Louie Genel; son, Jamie Genel and his wife Lynzie; mother, Lois R. Cunningham; stepchildren, Louie Jr, Jessica, Chris, Tina, Brandon, Marcela, Omar, Ericka and Jessica.
