Gus Seward Sr.

Gus was a proud graduate of South High School in Bakersfield Ca. Gus built a life rooted in hard work and dedication. He spent his career as a truck driver and oil field worker-professions that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.

Gus was known for his love of football games and trips to the casino. These pastimes brought him joy and offered moments of relaxation with his family and friends throughout his life.

He is remembered with love by his children: Gus Seward Jr. And Glorine of Bakersfield, California; Patrice Seward Knock and Gregory Knoch of Pendleton, Oregon; Gregory Jerome Seward of Sacramento, California; Rosletta Johnson of Stockton, California; Georgina Cobb and Larry Cobb of Spiro, Oklahoma; Cecilie Johnson-Ward and Wilson Ward of Bakersfield, California; Timothy Michael McQueen of Los Angeles; and Alisha Woodall of Laguna, California. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy McConnell of Bytle, California. And a host of grandkids and great grandkids and nieces and nephews friends.

Gus was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Harris Seward; his beloved wife Anna Woodall; and sons Dewayne Seward and Meko Seward.
