John Kenneth Ennis was born on December 9, 1947, to Kenneth and Pauline Ennis. A proud American, John served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army. His deep sense of duty and patriotism remained with him throughout his life.

John was a skilled and devoted carpenter, a craft in which he took great pride. He approached his work with care, precision, and integrityhis hands helped shape not only homes and buildings but also the lives of those he loved most.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Ennis; his parents, Kenneth and Pauline; his brother, Jerry Ennis; and his great-grandson, Tatum Buratto. Their memories remain deeply cherished by those who survive him.

John leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Johnna Ennis (Philip), John Ennis, and Tanisha Barker (Adrian). He was a devoted Papa to Brittany Renshaw (Mike), Breann Buratto (David), Owen Threewit (Samantha), Josh (Jordan), Abby Ennis, Terra Barker (Joshua), and Tyler Alonzo.

He was also blessed with a growing generation of great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy: Aiden, Addison, Audrey, and Dalton Renshaw; Kasey Buratto; Austin and Connor Threewit; Gracelyn, Lexie and Connor Barker; and Abree Winegar.

John is also survived by his loving sisters: Joyce Sanders, Janet Lara (Ben), Jenny Worell, and Judy Waddell. He leaves behind a large extended family who meant the world to him, including his sisters-in-law: Linda Westberry, Dixie Rodriguez (Filemon), Phyllis James, Carol Ledbetter, and Shirley Black; his brothers-in-law: Steve Floyd (Caren) and Kenny Floyd (Corina); and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember his strength, warmth, and Crazy sense of humor.

John will be remembered for his steady presence, his unwavering love for his family, and the pride he took in a job well done. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Family would like to thank Hoffman Hospice, Nubi, Bryan and Maria and Caregiver Cynthia Petersen for their compassionate care.
