Dear Mom, today marks one month since you left Lisa and I to join Dad and Al. I know you missed them so much but we miss you. I miss your calls and voicemails you would leave me and I will treasure the ones I still have. I will make sure to tell my grand babies about there Yaya and where they come from. I miss our little trips and I will hold all of my mementoes close to my heart forever.

I have such good memories with your Mom Nellie. I worked at Pacific Regency in the front office and soon found out she was Alfred’s mother. I started my friendship with her as we would talk and reminisce about Alfred and his siblings. She would tell me about her family growing up, she was a special person. I got to visit her at her house several times. She would tell me she liked yo go out dancing and loved her music. I would visit Alfred when he was going through chemo, I would sit and talk to him, Nellie would join in on the conversation . She will be missed by many. May she rest in heaven . 🙏
